'CFO of the Year Award 2004' awarded to Mr Praveen P Kadle, Executive Director - Finance and Corporate Affairs, Tata Motors

Mr Praveen P. Kadle, Executive Director - Finance and Corporate Affairs, Tata Motors has been awarded the prestigious 'CFO of the Year 2004' Award, instituted by IMA India. The Award has been conferred on Mr Kadle for his contributions towards 'enhancing the scope of the finance function and towards highlighting the deep importance of transparency and governance' within the organization. Mr Kadle received the Award from Mr G N Bajpai, Chairman of SEBI at an Awards Function held in Mumbai on December 15, 2004 . Earlier in the year 2002, Mr Kadle was conferred with the "CFO of the year - for excellence in Cost Optimisation" award by IMA.

Speaking on the occasion, stated Mr Kadle, "This is an honor for all my colleagues at Tata Motors - from all departments, including the finance department. All the initiatives that we undertook during the trying times that the Company passed through recently received full support from the entire Company, including the shop floor worker."

The 'CFO of the Year' Award, year after year, recognizes and honors financial excellence, as exemplified by the CFO of a Company, with an overall display of leadership and a high degree of integrity that complements and enhances the strategic partnership offered to the senior most management of any corporation.
