Tata Engineering received the "All India Trophy for Highest Exporters" 1998-99 in the Capital Goods Exporters - Non-SSI Category. The Engineering Export Promotion Council organised the award presentation function on May 31, 2000.

The award was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi, by

the Minister of Commerce and Industries, Mr. Murasoli Maran. Mr. Vikram Kulkarni, Divisional Manager, received the award on behalf of the Exports Department.
