The Tata Indica and Tata Safari continue to do Tata Motors proud!

Tata Indica DLX won the "Best car award" in the Rs. 3 lakh - Rs. 5 lakh category at BBC World's "Wheels 2003". The Indica beat other contenders like the Zen, Fiat Palio, Opel Corsa and Ford Ikon for this award. Extensive reviews, customer and viewer feedback as well as a model's technological advances were among the important criteria in deciding the winners.

Tata Safari ranked highest in the MUV-SUV segment of the JD Power study 2003. It was followed by the Mahindra Scorpio and the Toyota Qualis in a tie. The Tata Safari has improved its scores by 33 points over 2002. The JD Power study measures owner delight with the design, content, layout and performance of new vehicles across eight specific categories during the first two to six months of ownership.
