Tata Motors won awards at the 14th National Convention of INSSAN ( Indian National Suggestion Schemes' Association) held on 7th & 8th November at Hotel Royal Southern, Tiruchirappalli (Tamil Nadu).

There were altogether 5 categories for competitive participation at the convention out of which Tata Motors, Jamshedpur participated in 4 and won prizes in all four.

The Suggestion Scheme at the Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Pune has bagged the First Prize in the "Excellence in Suggestion Scheme" Contest - Group IV. Mr A M Paranjape, Divisional Manager (Value Engineering) and Vice Chairman, Suggestion Scheme received the award.

The individual winners from Jamshedpur were : Mr. G V Srirama Kumar (PSD) for his paper "Excellence in Suggestion Management; Mr. Sunil Kumar (PSD) for his Technical Paper on the topic "Employee Participation for Competitive Edge"; Mr. Gaurav (APPC) as Best Suggestor for his suggestion "Cummins Engine Commonization - 2515 TC & 3015TC"; and Mr. P Kumar (HVTL) in Poster Competition.
