Indica Diesel won the NFO Voice of the Customer Award 2003 for the Best
Diesel Small Car in the Total customer satisfaction study, a distinction
achieved for the second year running. In addition to achieving segment
leading performance on most measures, Indica Diesel recorded the lowest
ownership cost figure in the Industry at Rs.2 per kilometer.
Tata Indica Diesel also won the Best resale value in the diesel small
car segment in the Used car-buyer study.
The NFO Voice of the Customer awards were presented at a glittering
ceremony in New Delhi on 14th Jan 2004. A combined sample of nearly
12,000 car owners across India was studied, making this the largest
syndicated study conducted in India.

The
Tata Safari EXi won the Most Improved Car of the Year award at the CNBC
Autocar awards 2003 held in New Delhi on 14th Jan 2004. Auto Car India,
the leading auto magazine provided the technical support for road testing
and evaluated the technical performance of the nominees, using sophisticated
evaluation procedures and testing equipment. The judges rated the nominees
on the basis of the performance scores, which were audited and evaluated
by Ernst & Young.
