At the Annual Day Function, meritorious children of employees received awards from the Chief Guest, Dr. Parasuraman, Director, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Mr. P P Kadle, ED (Finance and Corporate Affairs). An additional feature was the felicitation under "Exemplary Achievement Beyond Business" of employees who had made significant social contribution. Mr. V.Ravi from Delhi office and Mr. R. Bawa, Thane office, were felicitated for showing courage in the face of adversity and Mr. N. Hardikar, Thane office was given recognition for his efforts to enhance employability of the tribal students through the Sakwar Project.

The certificate distribution and felicitation ceremony was followed by an entertainment programme. The cultural events captured the in-house talent that flourishes in the Tata Motors family. Theme for the cultural programme was "Asha" and each dance number and song was woven around this theme, highlighting how people aspire for themselves, for the people they care and for the commitments that they make. The function concluded with dinner that had a wide spread of mouth-watering dishes.

In addition, the Welfare Trust provided health and other facilities at various office locations, including Table Tennis Tables at Thane and Worli, Ladies Room (Femme Corner), Treadmill and library.

Pranayaam sessions were also organised by the Trust for the employee and their family members. Dr. Joglekar, Health Services, Pune was the faculty for these sessions that lasted for 5 days. In the sessions, the participants learnt to regulate their breathing, which in turn is both a form of meditation and has several health advantages.
