At the Geneva International Motor Show this year, we took to the stage to unveil 4 new vehicles that wore our Impact 2.0 design philosophy. Based on our two new platforms - Alfa and Omega, we had an impressive four-car display that made a global debut. Coupled with this design approach and the new modular architecture, our vehicles are expected to drive down production costs and development time.
We are excited to enter a new market space with the introduction of Altroz. Its Athletic stance, sporty silhouette and sharp cut lines characterize the Altroz as a futuristic, ultra-modern, edgy and agile car. Stylish front grill which is seamlessly integrated with dual slim projector headlamps extending on both sides, together forms a modern visor and gives a premium and sporty impression. The side profile features a unique arrowhead forming at the intersection of the A pillar, with the front door flowing into the one of a kind comet tail along the window line. The interior of the Altroz has been laid out like a modern aero command center with a seamless cockpit-like theme. 7” infotainment system & TFT cluster display with new HMI gives it a high tech look and feel. Enhanced haptics and premium materials give a feeling of premium environment from the future. Altroz has an edge over its competition in terms of spaciousness and provide best shoulder room. Under the hood, Altroz has turbo-charged motor which makes it one of the most powerful car in its league.
Another debutant at this iconic show was the Buzzard, Geneva Edition. Being the second vehicle built on the OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced) Architecture, which is derived from Land Rover’s legendary D8 platform, and the IMPACT 2.0 Design language, the Buzzard will be the Luxury SUV from Tata Motors taking forward the new standards of SUV in India, created by the OMEGA Architecture earlier this year with the Harrier. A global SUV, which is the true personification of luxury and power, Buzzard, has an aura that captivates. With its majestic appearance and unmatched performance, Buzzard is designed for those who inspire and lead.
The last car on the Tata pavilion was the H2X concept car. Again, like the Altroz, we are making our maiden attempt at creating a micro-SUV that will be christened as the Hornbill when it enters into production. Structured on the Alfa platform, this car will have distinctly split headlamps that likens it to the Harrier but its tail lamps will be smaller and round. The H2X concept car will supersede the Nexon in terms of height and breadth and will thus command an on-road presence similar to that of a full sized SUV. To further emphasize its ruggedness, the car will have black cladding all around the body. To add to its appeal this concept car will have a sloping roof, squared wheel arches and a higher window line.
With our expansive display we are confident that we can be game changers in the industry with our cars that are ingrained with supreme technology and world-class design, promising a stellar performance.
