What is National Customer Care Day?
October 23rd is a special day for Tata Motors. On this day in 1954, the company rolled out its very first truck from the Jamshedpur factory, successfully delivering the vehicle to its owner. To commemorate this memorable event, Tata Motors has been celebrating National Customer Care Day. On this day, the company conveys its heartfelt gratitude to all its customers for their continued support.
This year, Tata Motors held a nine-day Grahak Seva Mahotsav in continuation of the celebrations, during which customers could avail free check-ups for their vehicles as well as attractive offers on spares, labour costs, and lubricants.
Activities undertaken during the 2017 Grahak Seva Mahotsav
For the 2017 Grahak Seva Mahotsav, Tata Motors initiated visits to its customers. The company held Grahak Samvaad in the east, south and west zones from 9th to 18th October. Over 8,000 customers were contacted through individual or group meetings by the company. Free vehicle check-ups as well as incredible discounts on spares, labour costs, and lubricants were offered to the company’s valued customers. Extensive customer education on Tata Motors’ popular offerings like the mobile app, which has quick service for new vehicles (Tata Zippy), time bound service for accident vehicles (Tata Kavach) and roadside breakdown service (Tata Alert), was also provided. For the north zone, the event will be scheduled from 1st to 10th November 2017.
The company presented ‘Certificates of Gratitude’ to all its customers. Platinum, Gold and Silver Plus Key Accounts Customers received Titan wristwatches, branded by Tata Motors.
Tata Motors also felicitated its Channel Partners and honoured the performance of their staff by gifting them branded Bluetooth speakers.
