Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, today launched a new trucking concept of ‘TRUCK WORLD: Advanced Trucking Expo’ in Vijayawada. A unique initiative, TRUCK WORLD is a first-of-its-kind event by Tata Motors, in showcasing the company’s extensive offering from its’ medium and heavy commercial vehicles business, all under one roof. Tata Motors ‘TRUCK WORLD’ will be held from December 17 – 19, at the PWD Grounds, Vijayawada.
Conceptualised to reach out to the ever discerning Indian trucking customer and their families, ‘TRUCK WORLD’ will enable Tata Motors to not only showcase its products and services, but its over 60 years of experience in the trucking business – understanding its customers’ needs, the latest trucking technologies, vehicle design, quality, reliability and safety. The event has separate areas for product display, hospitality, entertainment, engagement activities, for customers and visitors alike.
At the TRUCK WORLD in Vijayawada, Tata Motors will showcase 26 Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles, its own service related brands like Tata Genuine Parts, Tata Delight and Tata FleetMan. Tata Motors’ key vendors partners, financers and value-added service providers will also be present at the Expo.
Tata Motors will also conduct engagement activities and service related workshops for customers, mechanics and drivers at the TRUCK WORLD in Vijayawada. A truck-art zone has also been created at the venue with an artist creating colorful floral patterns, depictions, calligraphy of verses, etc. on a Tata truck. The adorned Tata truck is an example of ‘moving art’ under which various parts of the vehicles have been decorated differently. Furthermore, various entertainment activities have also been organized at the PWD Grounds, keeping in mind families of visitors.
Tata Motors also plans to organise similar events in other trucking centres of the country.
