Tata Motors one of the largest automobile manufacturers in India announces today the launch of its passenger cars, Indica, Indigo and Indigo SW (Station Wagon) and the new pick up Xenon in D.R. Congo.

Tata Motors is present in Democratic Republic of Congo for more than 15 years through its distributor Zahira sprl, which has got sales, service and spares facilities in the capital Kinshasa and in the mining town of Lubumbashi. Zahira sprl is presently selling Tata Pick-ups, Light Commercial trucks, Medium & Heavy trucks, tippers and buses in the country. The products are well accepted and customers are very satisfied with the performance of these vehicles.

The launch of the new models will boost the product offerings in Congo. The passenger cars would be offered in 3 body-styles, the hatch-back “Indica”, the sedan “Indigo” and the station wagon “Indigo SW”. These cars will be powered by a 1.4 litre MPFi petrol engine. Tata passenger cars are best suited for African conditions owing to their better fuel mileage, spacious interiors, ruggedness and reliability.
