27 employees from Sanand Plant won awards across nine categories this year
Tata Motors Sanand Plant created history by winning as many as 25 awards at 20th National Creativity Summit organized by Indian National Suggestion Schemes’ Association (INSSAN) on 7-8 June 2018 at New Delhi. The theme of the summit was ‘Employee Creativity- A Key Factor for Business Sustainability’.
Mr. Douglas Webster (COO – Delhi International Airport Ltd) and Mr. Devendra Mishra (Executive Director, Shri Ram Pistons & Rings Ltd, Pathredi) inaugurated the summit and addressed the participants. In their address, they emphasized on the importance of ‘sharing the learning’ and ‘learning through sharing’ which is a key to continuous improvement.
Tata Motors Sanand Plant won multiple awards in nine categories at the 2-day summit held in capital city, organized by the northern chapter of INSSAN. Tata Motors Sanand won three awards in each category – essay, poem, poster, slogan, sujhav ratna, creativity champion and idea management champion and distinguished evaluator while two awards each in slogan and case study categories. The awards won were across levels including excellence, par excellence and distinguished.
Around 330 participants attended the summit from various industries like automobile & auto component OEMs, public sector, FMCG and infrastructure. Apart from Tata Motors Sanand Plant, Tata Motors Pantnagar Plant and Tata Motors Lucknow Plant, several companies like Bharat Electronics Ltd – Ghaziabad, Hero MotoCorp Ltd – Gurgaon, Munjal Showa Ltd – Gurgaon, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd – Rudrapur, Delhi International Airport Pvt Ltd – New Delhi, Hero MotoCorp Ltd -Dharuhera, Steel Authority of India Ltd – New Delhi and Shri Ram Pistons & Rings Ltd – Pathredi participated in the summit to name a few.
In 2017, Tata Motors Sanand Plant had won 17 awards at the 19th National Creativity Summit organized by INSSAN. The theme of the summit in 2017 was ‘Employee Creativity- a Key Factor for Business Excellence’.
The back-to-back achievements is another milestone in Tata Motors Sanand Plant’s journey towards Business Excellence.
