Highest qualification completed within the stipulated timeframe:

3-year Diploma + 3-year B.Tech OR

12th (2 years) + 4-year B.Tech

Professionals within 12 (Min.) - 24 (Max.) months of work experience, excluding internship/apprenticeship period.

Only selected candidates will be called for a written test. Candidates who successfully pass the online test, based on merit list (prepared based on % of marks top-down), will be eligible for the subsequent process.

Services of the selected candidates will be subject to transfer to any of the locations, subsidiaries and any of the joint venture Companies.

All selected candidates will undergo Background Verification and Medical check-up as per company’s standard procedure, before their appointment

Candidates who are found ineligible as per the prescribed criteria, at any stage of selection process, will be immediately disqualified from any subsequent rounds.

Evaluation Process:

Eligible candidates will participate in an online test that evaluates their abilities in Problem Solving (Aptitude and Reasoning), Quantitative Literacy (Basic Mathematics), Domain Understanding (Subject Knowledge) and General English.

I am a fresher or currently unemployed. Am I eligible for the program?
Thank you for your interest in the Early Career Program. This opportunity is currently designed for professionals who are employed and have 12 to 24 months of full-time work experience, excluding internships.
At this time, freshers and currently unemployed candidates are not eligible to apply. -
I have completed my B.Tech through part-time or correspondence mode. Am I eligible?
At present, the program accepts applications only from candidates who have completed their B.E./B.Tech through a full-time mode of study and graduated in 2024.
Degrees obtained through part-time or correspondence modes are not eligible for this program. -
Is there a minimum experience requirement to apply for this opportunity?
Yes. Candidates must have completed a minimum of 12 months of experience as of the date of their application. -
I have completed M.E., M.Tech, or a dual degree. Am I eligible?
We appreciate your strong academic background. However, this program is specifically designed for candidates whose highest qualification is a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree.
Candidates with M.E., M.Tech, or dual degrees are not eligible under this program. You may explore other suitable opportunities on the Tata Motors careers page. -
I am currently in my final semester. Can I apply?
This program is open only to candidates who have successfully completed their B.E./B.Tech degree in 2024.
Candidates who are currently in their final semester or awaiting results are not eligible to apply. -
I have completed my B.Tech in a specialization not listed in the eligibility criteria. Am I eligible?
The program is open only to candidates from the specified specializations mentioned in the eligibility criteria.
Applicants from other specializations may not be considered for this batch. -
Does qualifying for the online test guarantee progression to the next stage?
Qualifying the online test is an important milestone in the selection process. However, progression to the next stage is based on a merit list prepared in a top-down manner, considering overall performance.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to the subsequent selection stages. -
What happens if a candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the process?
Candidates found ineligible at any stage of the selection process, based on the prescribed criteria, will be disqualified from further rounds.

Is final selection guaranteed upon successful completion of the interview process?
The final selection subject to the successful completion of Background Verification (BVG) and a medical examination. -
Where will my joining location be? Are transfers applicable?
Selected candidates may be assigned to manufacturing plants, commercial, central and corporate functions subsidiaries and group companies of Tata Motors.
As part of organizational requirements, transfers across locations or entities may be applicable. -
