– Marks the debut of Tata Harrier in the SOUL Brotherhood-
Tata Motors announced the commencement of its 1st International Iconic SOUL drive to Bhutan, the land of Happiness & the Thunder Dragons, starting 29th of April 2019. This momentous occasion was marked with the newly launched SUV from the Tata Motors stable – the Harrier, joining the convoy for the SOUL Iconic International Drive, Mountain Trail, Bhutan April 2019.
Speaking about this milestone iconic drive, Mr. S. N. Barman – Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Customer Support, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, “Since its inception, SOUL has been growing from strength to strength. Achieving a new feat with every new expedition, it has become a way of life for these Tata SUV owners. This expedition is created to provide our SOUL members with an opportunity to rekindle their spirit of adventure, in the company of like-minded people and traverse through the beautiful valleys of Bhutan. This first of its kind, international edition of the SOUL drive becomes even more special with the addition of our newly launched SUV – the Tata Harrier, which will enhance the excitement level of the SUV enthusiasts. We are confident that this drive will create memories among the SOUL members and give them a chance to visit some of the pristine and unexplored areas in and around Bhutan.”
Flagging off from Siliguri, 34 SOUL members will travel in a convoy of 12 Tata SUVs and cover a distance of over 1000 kilometers through the beautiful valleys of Bhutan, exploring the mesmerizing snowcapped mountains and nature in its full glory. Harrier owners, the recent addition to the clan of SOUL adventurers, are charged up for an exhilarating experience with their thoroughbred SUVs. Engineered on the , derived from Land Rover’s Legendary D8 Platform, Harrier will feel at home breezing through the toughest of terrains with utmost ease.
The adventure aficionados will get a chance to visit iconic landmarks like the famous Memorial Chorten and the gigantic 177 feet Shakyamuni Buddha statue through this exciting road trip while also getting th opportunity to cross the Dochula Pass from Thimphu to Punakha in their powerful SUVs. Additionally, they will get an opportunity to soak in the culture of Bhutan by participating in archery masterclasses, mask dancing and hiking upto the stunning Tiger’s Nest.
